On August 5th, Newtown AYLUS members volunteered at the Autism Cares Foundation (ACF) event held at the Newtown Athletic Club (NAC). Volunteers helped capture memories by taking photos of participants and supported the event by handing out shirts to attendees. This opportunity allowed us to contribute to raising awareness and celebrating the community’s efforts in supporting individuals with autism and their families.
By taking photos, we helped document the spirit of the event and highlight the importance of teamwork and inclusion. Distributing shirts also gave us the chance to actively engage with participants and support the Autism Cares Foundation’s mission of creating a more connected and supportive community.
Volunteers: Eric Chen (Event Leader) and Aaron Temmer. Each person volunteered for 2 hours.
