AYLUS Great Neck Branch Assists in Calligraphy Class 8th (8/4/25)

On August 4th, 6:45-8:45pm AYLUS volunteers gathered at the Station Library to help prepare calligraphy paint class materials. One person was responsible for translating Chinese to English. During the session, some of us changed water for the students and squeezed the ink pigment into containers. These tasks required careful attention to avoid spills and ensure that each had the right amount of materials to continue their work.

In addition, we learned that Chinese painting was creative and more about the traditional technique used in Chinese painting like paint colors can influence the final work. After class, volunteers washed and cleaned the calligraphy tools. Overall, this activity was meaningful, as it can improve our art. This class was very fun and informative!
