On August 10th 2025, Aylus members helped Habitat for Humanity to paint for senior house.
Members did the preparation work (tape the door, window, and also floor) before a safety briefing and then got to work towards the front of the home. They cut around the ridges with brushes and used the roller for larger faces, checking for drips and using multiple coats to make sure the empty spots were all covered. After cleaning up their area and cutting towards the roof area, they moved to the opposite face of the home to avoid the sun. They split up to cover both the larger wall and cut around the door, careful not to get paint onto the trim area and checking for empty spots as the paint dried. After a short break, they went back to finish off their areas and check over the rest of the home and cover remaining spots, before clearing their tarps and removing all of their tape.
