Syosset AYLUS visits CP Nassau Group Home in Bayville on 8/3/2025

On August 3rd, volunteers from the Syosset branch of AYLUS visited CP Nassau’s Bayville location for an exciting and interactive afternoon with the residents. The visit was filled with a variety of activities that encouraged participation, teamwork, and lots of laughter. We started the day with a lively game of darts, where residents aimed carefully and celebrated every successful throw. Afterward, we moved on to Connect 4, which brought out everyone’s competitive spirit as players strategized to get four pieces in a row before their opponent. In between these larger games, we also enjoyed smaller yet equally fun activities like bingo. Residents eagerly marked their cards, hoping to be the first to call out “Bingo!” and win the round. As the afternoon continued, the atmosphere was full of energy and excitement. Volunteers and residents chatted, cheered each other on, and formed new connections through the shared joy of play. We wrapped up the event with a spirited game of Jeopardy, where participants tested their knowledge across a variety of topics. The game inspired teamwork, quick thinking, and plenty of laughter as teams worked together to answer questions.
