On August 1, 2025, the AYLUS robotics group taught kids from ages 5-6 about the basics of LEGO Spike Prime. The teachers walked through the parts of the kit that made a functional robot, including the hub, motors, and sensors. The students built and learned to program robots to run like cars. They also created mechanisms with gears that used knowledge of gear ratios and enjoyed watching those various pieces move.
