On July 26th, Aylus members went to a Habitat for Humanity to paint for senior house.
Members signed in at the front desk before putting on gloves and helping to put tape around the windows so that the paint won’t get on it. Then, they laid out tarps around the whole house to protect the concrete. After the morning announcement about safety and a paint demo, members started working. They separated to all 4 sides of the house and worked diligently. Halfway, there was a mandatory break, and members got water and some snacks. When they finished, members folded the tarps, brought the ladders to the trailer, and removed the paper coverings.
