On July 13th, 2025, Murrieta AYLUS members helped their local senior center.

As usual, several seniors were already waited in the library for their favorite piano music. The performance started with some romantic pieces, followed by well-loved classical tunes, and wrapped up with lively jazz melodies that had everyone tapping their feet. Meanwhile, in the ice cream parlor, members served seniors and guests their favorite ice cream flavors, spreading smiles and creating a warm, friendly atmosphere. It was a day filled with music, laughter, and community spirit.

On July 13th, 2025, Murrieta AYLUS members volunteered at their local senior center. First, the volunteers started on making a fruit snack with cottage cheese which could be served to all the residents. Since many of the residents couldn’t feed themselves, the volunteers also fed them the fruit snack. After they had all finished with their snack, the volunteers started serving a round of water and juice, taking into account any residents with special dietary or mechanical needs such as diabetes or needing thickened juice. Afterwards, some of the female residents were treated to a nail spa where they got to enjoy a nice nail soak and a choice of nail polish color. Finally, the residents were led to the dining room for lunch.
