On 7/26/25, members of Syosset AYLUS helped out at the CCE Nassau Farmer’s Market, by setting up booths at the market, managing booths, engaging customers, and helping pack up booths. Members welcomed customers, and informed them about National Culinary Arts Day, where customers were encouraged to write down their favorite local restaurant, and children were encouraged to write thank-you cards to hand out to vendors. Members also managed the Taste NY booth, where members informed customers about the variety of frozen meats and foods at the Taste NY market. While managing the booths, members kept a consistent visitor count of the adults and youths entering the market and assisted customers by directing them towards activities and booths in the farmer’s market. Towards the closing of the market, members helped pack up and clean up the market.
