On July 19th, 2025, 2pm – 4pm our team hosted our 175th event. Our branch hosted a music concert for the seniors at Little Neck Senior Center. Our members were excited about the idea, wanting to make the seniors’ day better and spreading happiness. The instruments our members play are the flute, the piano, the trumpet, the violin, the viola, and the cello. Members brought pieces ranging from classical music to modern music in order to provide our seniors with an enjoyable experience. To begin the experience, our quartet played an intro song to set the mood. Then, throughout the concert, our seniors clapped along and even sang along to some of the songs, making us feel proud of our efforts. At the end of our concert, our quartet came back on stage to play a couple songs, such as Over the Rainbow and God Bless America, which a few of our seniors sang along to. Our members were then invited on stage for a bow and we took a group picture with the seniors. Saying our goodbyes, our members also expressed their feelings of wanting to come back again in order to perform for them again.
