Newtown AYLUS Volunteers at FabLab Summer Camp (13th)

On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, members of the Newtown Branch of AYLUS dedicated their time from 7:45 AM to 11:45AM volunteering at the FabLab Center (One Ivybrook Blvd Suite 190, Warminster, PA 18974, USA). FabLab is a STEAM learning center where children and youth of all ages are able to explore various technologies and skills related to science, engineering, art, and math.

Two members began the morning conversing and welcoming the group of around 20 campers as they arrived. The volunteers assisted with campers’ creations and work, which included helping build drones for one camp, and building in minecraft for the other. Additionally, volunteers helped update computers and ipads to the latest version of software. Volunteers traveled around the space, offering assistance where needed.

The event was very successful, with students being satisfied with their own creations and progress. Members helped clean up and set up for the second half of the camp.

Members who participated were Daniel Tang (Event Leader) and Ryan He, both for 4 hours.
