On July 19, 2025, volunteers from the AYLUS Frisco-Plano branch gathered at the Frisco Environmental Collection Center to donate used batteries. The batteries were collected from the local community, such as the volunteers’ neighbors and classmates. Recycling batteries gives an opportunity to reduce the amount of pollution in the environment through reusing the metals necessary in producing each battery. It helps us reduce our impact on the ecosystem while helping our community.
