On July 12, 2025 AYLUS San Diego Branch organized a donation drive for pet supplies for San Diego’s Humane Society Service Center, a non-profit animal shelter founded in 1880. The shelter is dedicated to its animals and their welfare, caring for almost 50,000 animals a year for 14 cities across San Diego County, as well as provides adoption and veterinarian services.
All together, volunteers donated two bags of bedding, 7 litter boxes, newspaper, and one bag of guinea pig food to supply the shelter’s need for materials to care for its animals and pets.
The following 4 AYLUS members packed and delivered their donations, each got 1 hour for donation.
