Syosset AYLUS Volunteers At CCE Nassau Farmer’s Market (7/12/25)

On 7/12/25, members of Syosset AYLUS helped manage a variety of the booths at the market, and assisted customers at the CCE Nassau Farmer’s Market. Members set up booths, setting up various activities and displaying information about the market, through flyers, brochures, and coloring sheets, and securing down tablecloths and placing flags and signs about the market. After setting up the tents, members worked at the booths, welcoming customers, informing them about the market, answering their questions, and catering to children with engaging activities. Members also kept a visitor count during the event, monitoring the number of adults and youth that came in to the market. Additionally, members filled water cups to distribute to customers in the market, and helped customers carry harry plants or items to their car. Towards the closing of the market, members helped pack up and clean up the market.
