AYLUS Great Neck Branch Tutoring At Station Library 36th (7/8/25)

On July 8th, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, four volunteers offered their time to help students and parents improve their academic skills. The volunteers present were Ivy Li, Janice Zhang, Benjamin Ko, and Brian Zhang. Ivy helped a third grade student strengthen their English skills by reading and practicing vocabulary. Janice worked with a middle school student on math, guiding them through practice problems to build confidence and accuracy. Ben helped a parent who wanted to improve their English, focusing on conversation and everyday phrases to help with daily life. Brian assisted a pre-kindergarten student with early math concepts, such as identifying different shapes and learning to count numbers in order. Each volunteer provided personalized help to meet the unique needs of their learners. By the end of the session, everyone made meaningful progress. Our volunteers continue to dedicate themselves to supporting the community through tutoring
