On July 7th, members of the AYLUS Plano Arts in Action team gathered to begin preparing the second batch of Kindness Cards following the successful delivery of our first Busy Books Project. This session marked a creative shift in our initiative, as students brainstormed uplifting themes, drafted sample card designs, and organized materials for future production. The cards, featuring encouraging messages and cheerful illustrations, will be distributed to children in hospitals and local care centers as a way to spread compassion through art. This event set the tone for the next phase of our summer outreach, combining creativity with community impact.
