On July 4, 2025, five members of the AYLUS San Clemente Branch volunteered at the RMV Annual 4th of July Kids and Pets Parade from 8:30am to 10:00am.
Members arrived at the Rienda pond and waited for instructions from the event organizers. After briefly meeting and getting instructions, members grabbed different accessories that would be passed out to participants of the parade as they walked by. Members were stationed at different places at the beginning of the parade and waited for it to start. Once it started, members began to passing out the accessories to everyone that passed by. This included American flags, bandanas, necklaces, bracelets, etc. Overall, it was a successful event and our branch is glad to have been able to help.
Members that participated (1.5 hours each): Laura Liu, Tylon Zhou, Miah Zhou, Melvin Jiang, and Elena Hsieh.
