After ransacking pantries and pilfering the aisles of Staples, AYLUS Roslyn members assembled at the Bryant Library to donate school supplies and canned foods to families in need with the Fill-A-Backpack program.
We collected notebooks, folders, erasers, glue, pencils, and more. We hope that our efforts can help someone out there and give them the means to achieve success as well as promote a more equal learning environment. Similarly, we donated pasta and canned foods to help support their families. In total, we amassed four bags of supplies and food.
