On Saturday, June 28th, from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM, 11 members of the Bellaire Branch of AYLUS volunteered at the Chinese Community Center (9800 Town Park Dr, Houston, TX 77036) for the 2025 CARE Fest. C.A.R.E. (Chinese American Relief Effort Coalition) is a charitable organization supporting families and communities in need. This year, C.A.R.E. partnered with Cunningham Elementary School to host a fundraiser event raising money to help support the school’s funding.
At this event, AYLUS volunteers contributed in various ways throughout the event. Prior to the fundraiser, volunteers assisted with setup by arranging chairs, tables, and other equipment. Once the event began, volunteers were assigned to different booths where they helped sell food, toys, and other items, supporting the overall fundraising efforts and ensuring the event ran smoothly.
