AYLUS Roslyn Provides Food to Local Families Through NOSH Delivers! Food Pantry (80th) on June 27th, 2025

On Friday, June 27, 2025, from 9am to 1pm, members of the AYLUS Roslyn Branch volunteered at NOSH Delivers!, a nonprofit organization that provides free meals to local families in need. When we arrived, the friendly staff greeted us and gave us instructions for the day. One volunteer made nosh bags. One volunteer went to help in the produce market room where they organized and handed out fresh produce to customers. The other two of us helped unpack and organize donated goods. We helped sort them, and then stock them onto the shelves. We were able to fully stock the shelves with the donated goods, and watched as people came in and took the goods. After that, two of us took out a lot of trash, and also helped water some plants in the front. Overall, this is a rewarding experience knowing that every volunteer serves an important role in the food pantry as we help serve hundreds of families in need daily. They will enjoy fresh and healthy food that we helped put together.
