On June 24th, 2025, Murrieta AYLUS members helped their local food bank.
Murrieta AYLUS members got signed in before splitting up to help stock bread/desserts and sort produce. In the produce area, members were given lots of fresh squashes/zuchinnis from farms, and they were really big and fresh. There were also lots of blueberry boxes to sort through. After the encouraging morning meeting, members in the food box area was tasked with filling up food boxes with breads and desserts. Whenever they were running low, they would switch the carts with the empty ones so the empty carts would be filled up, and they could use the full ones. After working to the end, members helped clean up and wipe down tables before saying goodbye.
