On June 18, volunteers led an art and crafts session to paint and make a flower basket at the LSA SMILE summer camp. they first painted butterfly and flowers on the paper plate and use that to make the basket and used the twist strings to make the handle. The volunteers also introduced flowers to make a butterfly garden and butterfly metamorphosis.
It is another example of an integrated skills teaching session.
In addition, volunteers supported the skills and Chinese classes led by the center’s staff.
