On June 5th, 2025, Murrieta AYLUS members helped their local food bank.
Members got there bright and early and signed in at the front before helping set up the food bank by pulling out tables and tents. Then, they decide to sort breads and desserts. Members had to take from the older boxes before using the newer breads/pastries that came in. They made sure the carts were full and ready to go when the food bank opened to clients. Then, members helped sort produce, since there were a lot of peppers needing to be sorted. After the food bank opened, members started helping pack food boxes, putting deli, veggies/fruits, and breads/desserts in each box. Then, they pulled the carts out for the people outside in charge of loading the cars. They continued this process until it was time for members to leave.
