AYLUS San Clemente Members have a beach Clean-up at the San Clemente Pier

ON 6/15/25, 11 members of the San Clemente AYLUS Branch volunteered to clean the beach at the San Clemente Pier in San Clemente, CA at 2:00pm.

All members arrived around 2:00pm and prepared the trash bags, gloves, and grabbers that would be used for the cleanup. After everyone arrived, they walked down to the beach and spread-out walking in a line down the beach cleaning up all trash in sight. There were many different types of trash such as plastic bottles, wrappers, and cigarettes. After cleaning the beach diligently for a while, the volunteers met back up and piled all trash bags to see how much was collected. Shortly after, the trash was correctly disposed of in a trash can. This is important because the plastic trash the volunteers collected would have ended up polluted the ocean. We also briefly discussed the new leaders for the next year of volunteering. Thank you so much to all volunteers who showed up for our club and our environment.
