On June 9th, Syosset AYLUS volunteers dedicated their time to the Long Island Native Plant Initiative (LINPI). They played a role in planting native grasses and making a new supply of nutrient-rich soil for upcoming projects. Assisting with LINPI staff, the volunteers’ efforts directly supported local species of plants.
