Columbus Branch Volunteers at the 2025 Dublin Special Olympics Shamrock Games at Dublin Coffman High School
On Saturday, May 31st 2025, AYLUS Columbus members volunteered at the Shamrock games at Dublin Coffman High School. They helped to support over 400 athletes from various delegations in Track and Field and Tennis events. Volunteers assisted in Set-Up, Clean-Up, working the Commissions and Lunch booth, handing out awards, and managing sports events. It was encouraging to see many AYLUS Columbus members out volunteering at this event, as there has been declining volunteer support at Special Olympics events in the last couple years. The event was fun, ran smoothly, and was a great experience for volunteers, athletes, coaches, and families.
