On May 31st, 2025, Greater Memphis Chinese Community host 3rd Dragon Boat Festival at Shelby Farm, Memphis. They need lots of volunteers to help the crew to check in from Thursday to Saturday. They need people to set up tents, and fill in the bottle water and carry to the tents to stable the tents.
Volunteers worked on Thursday, May 29th, they did:
1.Amanda Xiao,3hrs(4-7pm) helped registration and check in
2.Irvin-Ju, 1h, helped registration and check in
3. Alice Zhao, 3hrs(4-7pm) helped registration and check in
On May 30th, they did:
1. Eric Zhao, 3hrs ( 3:00-4:00pm)- Load trucks at Chinese community center
(4:00-6:00pm) -Unloading truck and setting up tents at Shelby farms
2. Eric Chen, 3.5hrs (5-8:30pm ) help set up tent and carry water bottle to tent
3. Irvin-Ju, 4hrs (14:30-18:30pm) help in registration set up tent
4. Joshua Dong, 2.5hrs (6:00-8:30) help set up the VIP tent and fill up water bags
5. Yuqi Chen,3hrs ( 4:00-7:00pm） help set up the vip and other tents
6. Zimo-Li, 3hrs（5:30-8:30pm ）helped set up the tents, moved and filled up the water bags
7. Harrison Xiao, 3.5hrs ( 4:00-7:30pm) helped setting up welcome flags
8. Nova Ma, 3 hrs ( 2:00-5:00 pm) help sort wristbands + registration tent
9. Evan Shi, 4.5hrs (3:00-7:30pm ) helped move equipment to Shelby farms, set up tents, carried water
10. Alex Shi, 4.5hrs (3:00-7:30pm ) helped move equipment to Shelby farms, set up tents, carried water
