AYLUS Great Neck Branch Tutoring At Station Library 26th (6/3/25)

On June 3, 2025, volunteer members of Aylus gathered at the Great Neck Station Library from 6pm to 7pm to assist students with their homework or school projects. This evening was highly collaborative, allowing the tutees and tutors to remain productive and motivated. The volunteers helped strengthen the students’ knowledge of various subjects, including math, reading comprehension, and language learning. Ivy Li, for example, helped inform her tutee on the necessary English jargon used to create and reset accounts. Additionally, Anhuang Lu guided their students through math problems. They worked together to ensure the student’s work was clear and concise. Other tutors, such as Serena Chen, Rebecca Xu, and Linzi Yeung, assisted their tutees in assignments regarding history and arithmetic problems. Overall, the session was highly fruitful. The students were engaged, and the teachers were interactive.
