AYLUS Great Neck Branch Tutoring At Station Library 24th (5/29/25)


Thursday, May 29th, 2025, volunteers gathered at the great neck station library in order to help students with a variety of studies. Linzi Yeung worked with a fifth grader to help with math homework. The y looked at statistical analysis, such as median, mode, and range. She also reviewed his previous mistakes and went over his errors. The student then corrected the errors. Ivy Li also helped a 6th grader work on his science homework on preserving and protecting the environment. They reviewed how different conservations efforts can lead to different results. Furthermore, she helped the student by working on math homework involving interquartile range and algebra. Rebecca Xu also helped with various math topics and math homework with students. Baiyu Chen also did some work. Benjamin Ko helped a kid identify parallel and perpendicular lines and helped with negative numbers in math homework.
Overall, it was an extremely productive tutoring session.
