On May 17th, 2025, the AYLUS Auburn Branch helped clean up after Food Truck Friday, from 8am to 8:25m. Food Truck Friday is an award-winning event of the Opelika Chamber. It is hosted in downtown Opelika, AL on various Friday nights throughout the year, and attracts food trucks, live music, vendors, and thousands of visitors who dine, drink, and enjoy the community atmosphere. The event starts at 5 pm, with some trucks remaining until 10.00 pm. We helped put away the tables and benches used the previous night and picked up trash for the whole block. It was a very joyful and fun experience.
