On 5/18/2025, West Essex branch volunteered at the 2nd annual Livingston AAPI Heritage month picnic at the Livingston Memorial Oval. Members helped setting up and hosting The Livingston Committee for Diversity and Inclusion (LCDI), in collaboration with the Livingston NJ AAPI Committee and Livingston AAPI Youth Alliance, hosted its inaugural AAPI Heritage Month picnic on Sunday, May 18 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m (some helps set up at 4:30pm and some helps clean up till 8:30pm). at the Livingston Memorial Oval.
The event showcased traditional performances and interactive exhibits, highlighting the rich tapestry of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) culture while fostering dialogue and understanding among attendees. Families, friends and neighbors are invited to partake in the festivities, which also include vendor tables, community networking opportunities, and more.
