On May 17th, 2025, members helped do yard work with Habitat for Humanity.
There were 4 houses and everyone was separated into 2 groups so each group would complete the work for 2 houses. At the first house, the side and backyard was filled with weeds so everyone took rakes, shovels, and weedwackers and patiently began to root them out. The weeds were then put into trash bags and lugged to the front to dispose later. Members also helped pick a few weeds out in the front yard and they trimmed some bushes. After they finished, members walked to the second house which was only a couple minutes away.The second house had a lot more weeds that were harder to get rid of but with everyone’s help, the job was completed in no time.
