The AYLUS Mclean Branch participated in Mclean Branch Music Buddies from May 2024 to April 2025 consistently each week. The days that we volunteered after Aylus mclean branch found are 10/22/2024, 10/29/2024, 11/10/2024, 11/11/2024, 11/19/2024, 12/03/2024, 12/17/2024, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
The Aylus Mclean Branch volunteers participated in a Music Buddies club regularly for one a week during the school year. For every lesson we teach, we are impacting a different elementary school student from 10 various areas around Northern Virginia! We teach roughly 1 hour. We provide them with numerous music books and helpful materials to expand their knowledge with music and learning a brand new instrument! Towards the end of the school year, we also host a concert to showcase what the students have learned. Mentors have also contributed much time and effort in tutoring them with a brand new instrument.
