On May 2, 2025, AYLUS Bridgewater volunteers led a coding workshop at the Martin Luther King Youth Center, introducing local, young students to some fundamentals of programming in Python. The activity focused on teaching basic coding concepts including data types, print statements, and looping.
We hope to continue encouraging STEM education in our community in the future. Thank you to the Martin Luther King Youth Center for welcoming us and to the volunteers who helped make this happen!
Volunteers: Jeffrey Hu, Matthew Yu, Sarah Diao (1.5 hours each)
