On Thursday, April 24, 2025, the AYLUS Great Neck branch successfully held a volunteer activity in the station library from 4:30P.M.—5:30P.M .
At 4:30 PM, 2 volunteers were ready to contribute their time and skills to support local children and adults in their educational journeys. But today only one boy showed up to seek for help.
Baiyu Chen and Ivy Li took turns and read a few picture books to the boy. Through expressive storytelling and engaging discussions, we captured the
kids’ imaginations and encouraged him to talk. Overall, it was a very helpful and productive tutoring session.
