On April 2 7th, AYLUS members had a local beach cleanup. They started by picking up all the trash in the upper park which included chip bags and plastic. They then made their way down to the lower areas of the park where they found paper plates in the playground, possibly from a party. They then went along the bushes, looking for trash under the branches where people had tossed them. Finally, the circled into the parking lot where a number of cardboard boxes were scattered around. Finally, all the trash was properly disposed of.
