The AYLUS Mclean Branch participated in Mclean Branch Music Buddies from May 2024 to April 2025 consistently each week. The days that we volunteered are 10/22/2024, 10/29/2024, 11/10/2024, 11/11/2024, 11/19/2024, 12/03/2024, 12/17/2024, 1/14/2025, 1/21/2025, 2/18/2025, 2/25/2025, 3/04/2025, 3/12/2025, 4/01/2025, 4/10/2025, 04/21/2025, and 04/29/2025 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

The Aylus Mclean Branch volunteers participated in a Music Buddies club regularly for one a week during the school year. For every lesson we teach, we are impacting a different elementary school student from 10 various areas around Northern Virginia! We teach roughly 1 hour. We provide them with numerous music books and helpful materials to expand their knowledge with music and learning a brand new instrument! Towards the end of the school year, we also host a concert to showcase what the students have learned. Mentors have also contributed much time and effort in tutoring them with a brand new instrument.
