On Sunday, April 13, the members of the Greater Triangle Branch went to the Brookdale Durham Assisted Living Facility for a performance.
It is the first time our volunteers have performed at this facility. They spent quite a lot of time preparing and rehearsing at home. They fully showed their skill in violin, piano, flute, clarinet, and Guzheng in performance. Their performance was a harmonious fusion of classical and contemporary pieces, showcasing the musicians’ exceptional talent and dedication.The audience was touched by the rich, diverse sounds of the instruments, which created a memorable experience for all in attendance. The workers and residents at the facility were incredibly pleased by our mesmerizing performance.
Our volunteers are glad to make those seniors happy with their music. The overwhelmingly positive response from the residents highlighted the profound impact of music in bringing joy and community spirit to Brookdale Durham.
