On the evening of 4/5/25, our amazing volunteers from Frisco and Plano in AYLUS, volunteered at the McKinney Asian Festival.

We sold gemstone bracelets, beautiful rings, balloons, and cute crochet items. Unfortunately, we had to cut down the time to 2 through 4 due to the cold and the wind, and we saw other vendors and visitors slowly packing up and leaving. So we decided to pack up at 4. Evan so, we had some amazing customers stop by and support us by buying our handmade items, and some people asked us what we do. Throughout the day our volunteers faced some challenges with the wind blowing our items off the table and our shoes getting dirty from the mud. One of the volunteer watched some of the performances! Groups like the Kung Fu Academy of North Texas, Ethnique Performing Arts, and Wei Recker (who played traditional Chinese instruments), among many others, put on an awesome show! We closed our shop, said goodbye to our volunteers who showed up to volunteer, and went back home. Thank you to all our volunteers who helped in many ways! The following volunteers are:

Sophia Li (leader) 5.5 hours

Melody Zhang ( leader)  5.5 hours

Clara Peng (leader) 5.5 hours

Karen Li 4 hours

Claire Liang 4 hours

Meilun Liu 4 hours
