On April 5, 2025, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, members of the AYLUS Bellaire branch volunteered at the Houston Food Bank.
Volunteers worked in the School Market of the Houston Food Bank and were assigned to fill boxes up with food. Volunteers worked through a system where some put packaged food into boxes, while the others helped with restocking. Through teamwork and hard work, they were able to smoothly complete their volunteering.
In total, the volunteers sorted and packaged 33 pallets, equivalent to 990 boxes and 7,920 meals, during this shift.
