Reported by Caien(Daisy) Chen :
On March 29th, 2025, AYLUS members volunteered for the Habitat for Humanity Inland Empire to help paint houses for underprivileged families. They started by tapping down paper and laying down tarps around the house to prevent paint from staining the concrete Then, everyone gathered for the volunteer coordinators to give safety instructions and demonstrations. The members got to work, carefully going over the edges of the house with a paintbrush before filling in hte larger areas with a roller. Since the property they were working on was larger than what they were used to, the members split up all chose different walls of the house and adjoining shed. Finally, after they had finished, they cleaned up their paint supplies, tarps, and paper.
