Over the days of March 9th – 22nd, 2025, our branch members continued volunteering to plant seeds and provide proper conditions for plant growth. We frequently moved the trays to ensure they remained in warm places with temperatures between 65-75°F. We checked the peats daily, watered them, and kept them moist but not soaking wet. Some seedlings successfully emerged, while others did not. For the peats where seeds did not emerge, we replanted and gently placed two seeds in the holes again, hoping for all seeds to emerge. This process took everyone about 15-20 minutes each day.
Volunteers who participated in this event were Eric Sun (4 hours), Nicholas Wang (4 hours), Matthew Guo (4 hours) and Justin Huang (4 hours)
