On March 28 2025, the Aylus Greater Buffalo branch, in partnership with Bridges from Boarders and Buffalo Chess Association, launched BFB#OneWorldChessClub. The program aims to promote diversity, inclusion, and friendships among people of different ages, backgrounds, and ethnicities through the game of chess. This program is dedicated to creating a welcoming and supportive environment where individuals, especially immigrants and refugees, can connect, learn from each other, and build lasting relationships through the shared experience of playing chess.
