AYLUS Roslyn Provides Food to Local Families Through NOSH Delivery! Food Pantry (58th) on March 22nd, 2025

On March 22, 2025, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm volunteers from Aylus Roslyn Branch came and helped volunteer at Nosh Food Delivery. Nosh is a non-profit organization, which delivers food and beverages weekly to those in need.

As soon as we arrived, we quickly got to work. We helped with a variety of different tasks. We helped restock the shelves with an assortment of foods and drinks, so it looks more appealing. As customers started to enter the building, we helped guide them, so that they can leave with all the necessities that they need. Additionally, we helped design Nosh Bags (a bag full of food and beverages), cut egg cartons (for easier distribution), bring in Girl Scout cookies, etc.

The work at Nosh was surprisingly difficult. The materials needed to be constantly stocked for the people in need. The boxes containing the food and drinks were heavier than anticipated and we needed to do our tasks quickly and efficiently. This experience at Nosh teaches us the importance of helping out others who need support and the hardships that many people go through.

Members that volunteered: Jaden Zhang (3 hours), Jolina Wu (3 hours), Josephine Zhang (3 hours), and Natalie Tsui (3 hours)
