On March 18, 2025, volunteers gathered at the Station Library from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM to help students with their studies. Rebecca helped a student with different types of homework, while Anhang Lu and Baiyu Chen taught Mandarin speakers to read useful English picture books. Moreover, Emma assisted students with English, Elaine Xing helped a student with math and Meixin Ding helped a student with history well. Ivy Li helped a student with her social study homework. We all did very valuable and helpful things during that time.

On Saturday,March 22nd Aylus hosted its weekly tutoring sessions at the Parkville library from 4:00pm to 5:00 pm. Volunteers went to the Parkville library to tutor 2 kids from kindergarten to 5th grade children. Alivia tutored a kindergarten student with vocabulary and read books to him. She helped him with writing sentences and helped him with spelling and new words. Kevin tutored a 5th grader on identifying shapes, total sides of shapes, and perimeter and reviewed previous topics with her. Overall a lot of progress was made and we hope to see more improvement in the weeks to come.
