On Sunday March 23, at the Andrew Stergiopoulos Ice Rink, from 1:45-3:00, volunteers of the Alyus Therapeutic Skating Program skated with children & adults participating in the program.
Every volunteer was paired with a skater, giving them support and helping them on the ice. The volunteers made the experience fun and safe for each skater. During the time they had with each skater, the volunteers encouraged each skater to try and learn new things.
The skaters and volunteers had fun together, and we’re all appreciative of everyone who participated in this event and took part in making it a wonderful experience.
