On March 16th, 2025, AYLUS Oakland Gardens completed its 139th event upon the submission of their poster entries for the 2025 AYLUS Poster Contest. This contents aims to promote the talent of young individuals among the collective thousands of active members while celebrating the organization’s achievement of 10 years in service. The Oakland Gardens branch accepted this challenge and invited our members to participate in this contest.
Our members dedicated many days to complete this assignment. Each poster designer developed their own original ideas of both the posters’ visual appeal and the messages they wished to convey. Some members chose to highlight our branch’s achievements and goals, while others centered their designs around the 10th anniversary of AYLUS.
Following this brainstorming period, members spent many hours of their days to digitally create and finalize their posters. All visuals of the posters, including pictures, icons, and texts were carefully selected by our designers to ensure their posters were submitted in the highest quality.
We received numerous poster entries, each one of them had their own charm, making them more than qualified for submission. Unfortunately, as per contest rules, we are only allowed to submit three designs. Nevertheless, we wish that all participants feel proud of their work as their time and dedication have not gone unnoticed by our parent advisor board.
With that, we celebrate 10 years of the AYLUS non-profit organization and the AYLFUS sponsor as we continue the promising year of 2025. It is truly a remarkable feat that this organization has spread from a single branch to upwards of 175 branches! Although our Oakland Gardens branch has been active for less than two years, we take great pride in all of our achievements leading up to our recognition of the honor status.
We would like to thank all of our poster designers, as well as every member and parent who contributed to the accomplishments of our branch. We would also like to thank the AYLUS organization for their support. Every one of our achievements wouldn’t be possible without the resources and guidance you provide in each step, and our branch would be sure to continue this forward momentum for many anniversaries to come!
