The AYLUS Pearland Branch enthusiastically collaborated with fellow local organizations to co-host the much-anticipated annual Jungle Jims Special Friends Festival on March 19th, 2025. The dedicated volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of hundreds of guests, preparing hot dogs and nachos to satisfy their appetites. Additionally, they managed several game booths and a promotional booth promoting the inclusive initiative of Pearland My PlayClub.
This event marked the second annual festival specifically tailored for individuals with special needs and their siblings. The festivities were diverse and engaging, offering a range of activities including a petting zoo, horseback riding, and inflatable attractions. Notably, members from the SMILE Special Needs program and Pearland My PlayClub, organizations passionately supported by AYLUS Pearland, actively participated in the event, fostering a sense of community and inclusivity that truly embodies our organization’s values.
