AYLUS Great Neck members came to King’s Point Park on 3/16/2025 to contribute to improving the environment by spreading wood chips on trails and park areas. The purpose of this project is to provide better park pathways, making them safer and accessible for visitors, also benefiting the local residents. Volunteers worked together to spread and level the wood chips, creating an even distribution in designated areas. Their work not only enhanced the park’s beauty but also helped with trail maintenance.
Although the physical demands of the task may be overwhelming, AYLUS members remained dedicated throughout the activity. The cooperation showed on the volunteers expressed their commitment to making a positive impact in our community. Large progress had been made at the end of this session, leaving the park in better condition for all visitors.
