At the end of Febrary, AYLUS Chapel Hill Branch became an official volunteer sewing group of WakeMed! So, throughout the month of March, AYLUS Chapel Hill members Grace Gao and Karen Lin hand sewed developmental hearts that will be used by WakeMed to help newborn babies develop peacefully and strong. Both volunteers will recieve 6 hours for their service to our wider community. In addition to the hearts, members exhibited their passion for helping the community by continuing to make more needed hospital crafts like stuffed animals on their own time.
