Chapel Hill Branch Creates Origami Pieces for Cancer Care Kits on March 15, 2025

On Saturday, March 15th, 2025, we had the privilege of organizing a heartfelt volunteer event where our amazing team came together to create handmade gifts for Kits to Heart. This inspiring nonprofit is dedicated to providing emotional support to cancer patients, and we were honored to contribute to their mission.

For hours, our volunteers worked with dedication and compassion, meticulously crafting beautiful origami pieces to be included in cancer care kits. Each creation was made with love, as everyone aimed to bring a moment of comfort and joy to those enduring the challenges of cancer.

We believe these thoughtful gifts will provide not only a visual reminder of kindness but also a source of hope and strength for the recipients. In a world that can often feel overwhelming, our hope is that these small tokens of support will make a meaningful impact, brightening their days and offering a sense of connection and comfort.

Volunteers who participated in this event were Justin Huang (1 hour), Eric Sun (5 hours), Matthew Guo (6 hours), Alwin Liu (5 hours), and Owen Xie (6 hours).
